The A-rated energy efficiency glazed panel is filled with non-toxic Argon gas to offer excellent insulation and sound proofing qualities.

Available in an unprecedented range of shapes and colours, our bi-folds can also prove to be a fine investment, adding thousands to the value of your property. Double glazing comes as standard but you also have the choice of triple glazed glass which can further reduce outdoor noise and UV light levels.
An optional extra is to have blinds with delicate thin pleats fitted inside the glass. They have the advantage of being dust-free and are easily operated by a magnet. We can show you a wide choice of colours.

Configurations: We can fit bi-folding doors in a number of different configurations. Usually they vary from two to eight panels, but it is possible to install up to 12 leaves. Most configurations allow for an independently opening main door. The diagram shows the choices available.
Thresholds: We provide full frame and low thresholds. A full frame threshold is recommended for external use. The rebate prevents rain getting in and allows water to drain away. A low threshold is almost flush to the ground. We fit this type of threshold particularly in swimming pools. Low thresholds are also suitable for internal use as room dividers.

Glass: Our doors and windows are fitted with either Pilkington or PLANITHERM thermally insulating glass with a typical U-value of 1.1 (the measurement of heat loss through the thickness of the material) or lower on request. We offer double and triple glazed units in thicknesses of 28 to 42mm, with weather-resistant seals. Up to 42mm is available for a triple glazed unit.
We can also install trickle vents if necessary.
Fittings: Our handles come in chrome, gold, white or black, with choices of shiny or brushed metal. The powder coated hinges are black. All fittings are made out of stainless steel.
